Zac has been riding since the age of 3. Starting off on a 4 wheeler when he was 2 then progressed to a Pee Wee 50 and started racing on the track at nearly 4. At the age of 7, he was the first to win the 50cc Div 1 & Div 2 Australian Junior Dirt Track title. Winning such an event on his home track was a great victory. Successes for the 2005 race season include 65cc 7 to under 9 years class where he finished 2nd in the Canberra Kings & Queens, 3rd overall for the year in the Country Dirt Track Series, 5th overall for the year on a count back for the NSW Junior Dirt Track Titles. In the 2006 race season and turning 9 years old, Zac went up a class to 65cc 9 to under 13yrs being one of the youngest in this division. He also started riding his YZ85cc. His efforts in 2006 include 2nd in the Riverina Longtrack held at Wagga Showground, 3rd in the NSW Longtrack Titles in Sommersby, and 3rd in the Victorian Titles. He has also competed in the North/East Victorian Championships, winning the 65cc class and 3rd in the 85cc class. Zac recently purchased his Metrakit after finding out the ages for Junior Road Racing had been lowered to 9. He is looking forward to fulfilling his dream of one day becoming a future GP Champion. |
