AMBITION:
TO BE WORLD CHAMPION ONE DAY
Danial started riding dirt bikes at the age of 7 on a suzuki JR.
He soon stepped up to a husqvarna 50 wich he started to race Moto X on when he was 8.
He was invited to a dirt track trial day at ACT Motorcycle Club, since then Danial has competed in dirt track meetings in the 65cc, 85cc, 2-stroke class, where he has had numerous podium finishes.
In 2005 Danial started to race Jnr speedway which he competed in for 12 months. Within this time he was able to make one A and five B finals. Also in 2005 Danial received a sponsorship deal with Jianshe Motorcycles to race in the 150cc four stroke class, where he managed to win their first ever trophies.
In 2006 Danial had a break from racing for 12 months to concentrate on his schooling.
During this time Danial continued to train and ride Endures, Mini Motard and generally having fun with his riding. He used this time to decide the direction he wanted his riding career to go. Danial has just taken delivery of a new Metrakit 80 to start his road racing career on and a KTM SXF 250 to continue racing dirt track.
Danial is looking forward to racing the rest of 2007 and 2008 on these two bikes.
Some career highlights are:
- 2004 Jack Hog Classic 2nd 65cc class and 85cc class.
- 2005 Central Coast Cup 3rd 85cc class.
- 2005 Canberra Cup 3rd 150cc four stroke class.
- 2005 Canberra Club Championship 1st 150cc four stroke and 3rd 85cc class.
